Engine 164, which is classified as a pumper/tender, is
third due out of Station 1 for rural fire calls. When on scene
of a rural fire, the crew of 164 sets up the folding tank and
dumps its load of water into the tank. The engine then leaves
the scene and begins the water shuttle. Engine 164 can also be
used for hooking up to the municipal water system to supply a
fire scene.
