Engine 164
The second engine to respond is classified as a
pumper/tanker. Engine 164 is a 1994 Pierce Lance with a 4-door
raised roof cab with a 450hp Detroit Diesel engine and an
Allison automatic transmission. It has a 1500gpm pump and
carries 2000 gallons of water. It has the capability of hooking
up to our municipal water system to supply water to the
emergency scene, or it can be utilized to shuttle or "truck"
water to an incident located in our non hydrant township. It
also carries tools and other equipment that may be needed on the
emergency scene.
