Engine 162

Engine 162 is a 1979 Pierce.  It was originally delivered as a Pierce with a Hendrickson Fire Marshal 5 person canopy cab.  This engine was rebuilt in 1997 with a 4 door raised roof Pierce Arrow cab, a 318hp Detroit diesel with an Allison automatic transmission.  It was a 750gal tank and a 1750gpm pump.  This engine's primary purpose on fires is to hook up and supply water to the sprinkler/standpipe systems.  It also has the job of drafting water from the possible folding tank and supplying water to the incident in our non-hydrant area.
